This page contains all the defined system entities.
Back link links to Control Panel, page title, add new entity button and right menu button
Action buttons to show different action on single or multiple (using check boxes) entities at a time. Available buttons are publish, unpublish, delete.
Filter fields where admin can filter records by the basis of title and status (published, unpublished). Only records that fulfill his provided criteria can be shown. Reset button will disable filter criteria and show all records.
Table header shows what different columns represent for a record. First column is a check box to select all visible records and perform any action on those records using top action buttons.
Individual record with title, default, published, ordering, actions for entity.
Title is text how the enitity will appear in combo box or as value on (views and listings) Default means enitity will be selected by default (on page load) on forms.
Publish status controls whether enitity will be visible in combo box or not.
Ordering means what will be the sequence of the entities in combo box.
Publish, unpublish, default, ordering for user or visitor can be changed by a single click for all entities.
Ordering of any entity can be increased or decreased by a single click.
If admin clicks on edit icon, admin will be redirected to add enitity layout with details of enitity filled in the form(edit case).
If admin clicks on delete icon then entity will be deleted, if it has no company, job or resume holds that entitiy as value and it is not default entity.
Unpublished entity can not be set default and also default entity can not be unpublished.
Add New Entity
- Location: Categories >> Add New Categories
This page is to insert new entity to system
Containing a back link linking to entities listing, page title and right menu button
Title*: this will be entity title
Published: controls publish/ unpublish of entity
Default: controls the default status of entity
<Fields that have ‘*’ next to their title are required.>
If all the required fields already filled, save entity button is to save entity. cancel button is to close this page and bring back to entities listing page.
In edit case, this page will hold values of the editting category, click save button will save changes.
