Joomla 3.4.2 / Joomla! 3.4.3 and Helix II Framework – Template Manager has stopped working problem

Dear Customers,

Last some days, Joomla! released new version 3.4.2 and up to 3.4.3 right now, this version has some change with code, so the Helix II framework stopped working with Template Settings.

Right now, you can download a patch fix update for this problem via link below

[Helix II Template Framework for Joomla! 3.4.2 and 3.4.3]

After download, you install this patch update via Extension Manager. Last, you just clear your site cache (if you enable site cache), and go to Template Settings, so you can save it.

Note: If you still can’t save Template Settings, so you just go to Template Setting and click “Refresh” button in your browser, so you will possible to save it.

Hi, I just install de Patch and still the same problem. Hélix freezed and the only way to get out is the back of the browser.Pleas have a look again and resolve this issue. Thanks

    You should contact your template provider and ask them about your problem. As standard template from us at https://ltheme.com/joomla-templates/ , it works fine.

Hi Again,

Appear to me that the Freezing problem, is only on the ONE PAGE Templates. he Premium one I have instaled all s working fine.But the One Page is not even after the Patch install.

    Hi There,
    i have the same problem with “can’t save changes in helix template in joomla 3.4.3”
    it freeze and the only way to get out is back button.
    I have installed :
    Joomla! 3.4.3 Stable [ Ember ] 2-July-2015 16:00 GMT
    Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable [ Curiosity ] 24-Apr-2013 00:00 GMT
    Helix V2 Shortcode Generator 1.1
    System – Helix Framework 2.1.9

Hi,
This solves the template save problem.
But I have another problem after update to J3.4.3. My homepage links are not working as before. I suppose this has something to do with menu with helix II.
The homepage link was set to xxx.com/de, xxx.com/nl and xxx.com/en etc. But after upgrade it resolves to xxx.com/
Any ideas on solving this? Or a workaround?

  If links in your website doesn’t work, so you should recheck htaccess file and rewrite URL option via Template Settings.

It works (the buttons save), but the changes that we make don’t have effect. So i think there still a problem remaining.

      I had send you the email, but no answer. I have made all the things taht are explained and nothing solve the issue.
      
      I have made all the installation and even don’t update to joomla 3.4.3
      
      And nothing works, i’m still waiting for some answer that would be very appreciatted.

I just solved the problem doing this :
go to ‘plugins\system\helix\js\admin\layout.admin.js’ on 143 no line just remove ‘ return false;’
Lost a few hair in the process though.

Sorry but the patch hasn’t worked for me. I have installed it successfully, cleared the site cache, done a browser refresh in template manger and still not able to close or save in template manager. Any further help would be appreciated.

i am trying to install joomla 3.4.1 ,, the installation process is veri slow,,, as in more than 12 hours slow,,, i now tried installing it with a joomla quickstart, but i am still getting the same result.

Hi,
I have recently installed the latest Joomla version 3.5.1 and started to work on building the website; I have just downloaded your free Blue Design II template and getting the error message as below:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Param() on a non-object in /home/mihaila/public_html/pacificpro.nz/templates/blue_design_ii/index.php on line 24

I have also downloaded the patch (plg_system_helix_j25_j3_4”), but no different; Please not that I could not find a way to save the update after the download.
Can you help me here?

  This is framework package for old Helix II framework and Joomla! 3.4.x.
  
  Right now we moved to Helix III to get full support for Joomla! 3.5.x, please make sure that you download LT Blue Design at https://ltheme.com/project/lt-blue-service-free-joomla-service-template/
