As you know, Helix Ultimate allows you to easily build mega menus on your Joomla website. Mega Menu help you create beautiful, customized menus for your Joomla website. In this post, you can find general settings for MegaMenu. There are 4 options that you can access, more advanced settings are “hidden” in Menu Manager inside each menu item.
Select
You can choose available menu in your Joomla.
Menu type
There are 2 separate menus: Mega Menu and Off Canvas Menu [=] ( sometimes it’s called Hamburger Menu). You can use either or both depending on your needs.
How to disable OffCanvas Menu in desktop view? Just select “Mega Menu” only.
Dropdown Width
By default, Dropdown Menu Width value is 240px. It would be to set it to the width of your submenu size content area.
Dropdown Animation
Here are serveral transition options for your dropdown submenus that MegaMenu offer:
- No Animation
- Fade
- Zoom
- Fade In Up
- Elastic
- Slide Down
- Drop In
- Twist
The transition occurs when the sub-menu is opened. Set to None (No Animation) if you want the sub-menu to appear with no fancy effect.
