You may need to remove icons and other button from your Items (Article) page before migrating your content from Joomla to K2. If you already have done this then here is how you set what you see in you web pages.
All you need to do is to create a category, and set the parameters up within this category by making changes to the items view options, I.E. you don’t want the ‘e-mail option’ but you do want the ‘published by’ option to show.
We will create a category called Published and select the options you want, … published by, (AUTHOR) so we select show, we can make other selection and so on.
Now category is ready and then we can create the next one and so on. We create our items and select what category we need them to be under.
